It all started out with there are no repercussions for not doing your job correctly, can't easily be fired and if you are you can draw unemployment for weeks and weeks. Before that, the teacher can not take you out into the hallway or down to the principles office for an attitude adjustment, and before that, your mom can not swat your ass for acting up in Wal-Mart.
