    .38 caliber hollow base wadcutters. Great for target shooting, popular for PPC competition back in the day. I've shot somewhere around a zillion of those, give or take.

    Makes a perfect cut in the target instead of a ragged hole. Much easier to score.

    After he shoots them, I want all that brass.

    See the double cannelures ? That marks it as factory wad cutter brass. It's different from regular brass, the inside of the case is not tapered close to the mouth, to allow the straight sides of the wad cutter to seat without smashing down.

    Not all factory wad cutter rounds had the double cannelure’s.

    Learn something every day. I’ve got a bunch of them. However I load wadcutters so I’ll keep them. I just need to sort them separately.
