Just curious what everyone's favorite die sets are for pistol cartridge reloading.

I've enjoyed using my Redding set for 10mm, but I can't say that my older .38 special Lyman set has made any less accurate ammo. I also know my pistol shooting isn't accurate enough to tell the difference...

You and me both! I have mostly Lee dies but have at least one set of all of the major manufacturers. I have a Hornady Precision set of 45 colt dies that makes a really good looking round. The crimp is just as good as factory.

Lee dies here.
They help to put food on the table.
I find sorting cases by headstamp and by thickness does the most for my accuracy.

That's one reason i got rid of my 45 Colt.
Different makes of brass was way different in thickness and in length.
My gun was not accurate enough to warrant buying a batch of Starline or some other make.
Ended up selling the revolver and the dies.

I use Lee in a 4 hole turret press, mainly because of the 4 die sets with the FCD. It seems to smooth out anything that would cause a FTF, espcially when using previously fired / resized brass.
