where to eat in shawnee not bbq

Looking for a good Mexican restaurant in shawnee. We used to go to amigos but it closed. Any other suggestions?

Abuelita's or Abuelita's II...both on Harrison. Not much on ambiance but the grub is good.

Get a starter plate of Botana's....plate full of grilled onions, jalepenos, potatoes and other stuff. Great appetizer and trimming for the main meal!

Can't remember the name of it,but there is a mexican place on 177 at first stop light south of I40, east side. Very tasty.
