I've gotten a couple of belts from Looper Leather. They have belts with kydex sandwiched between leather. They are pretty reasonable on price too. Last time they bought one it was around $30. I have black one and a brown one.

YOu can go to a Tandy leather store and buy a solid piece of leather and make a belt that is nice and solid and will out last most store bought belts.
Cost me $13 for the belt plus some extra for the dye but the dye will do a lifetime of belts.

Can you use a 1 1/2 inch belt? Nothing smaller works for me.

Don Hume will work. Cheaper to buy it from Gunner's Alley [they have a web site] then direct from Don Hume. Go figure.

More money, but a nice belt, for a Mitch Rosen Express. Lots of places to get it.

I use a loopers but it's just thick, solid leather. Works great. Cost $20 or $25 and they cut it to length while you wait. It's off I-35 or I-235, can't remember.
