LOL...... me too. I'm sure I would of shot him after an hour or so. Good for the father, he did the right thing.

This is like congratulating someone for receiving the Medal of Honor. He did a helluva job doing something you'd never want to do in a situation you'd never want to be in.

As a father of 3 daughters, can't say I'd do anything differently. I like the idea of displaying the news article.

I dont know how "skilled" at fighting you would need to be...general human anatomy would do the trick..
eyes , nose, throat. general trauma to the groin or kidney/liver....should do the trick
To take a human life would be traumatic, I would think....justification in this case wouldnt be too hard!

I was being funny, it's called hyperbole.

It sounded crass to say I would have taken my time beating him to death.

There are no hyperbole emoticons that I know of.

I'm pretty sure every father of a daughter would lose control in that situation. He shouldn't feel bad at all except that his daughter had to suffer such abuse.

I'd think less of any father that didn't lose it under those circumstances.

Me too, though he possibly 1) didn't have one on him, or 2) was so enraged he just went all out barehanded on him.

Maybe he was being thoughtfull of the child and sparing her the trauma of witnessing someones head exploding at gunpoint.
