This is a YouTube video produced on a channel there called "Armed Attorneys." They touch on why one shouldn't show images of their firearms, especially so on social media platforms.
It's a good thing I only have one gun. 
Shoot, all I've got left is 3 Caulk guns, 1 Heat gun for shrinking heat shrink tubing, a couple Glue Guns, a Staple Gun or 2, I think 2 Soldering Guns, a really good Grease gun, can't recall what else. The Paint gun is long gone gone gone. Is there anything else I need?
What would the gooberment peckerheads be interested in that sort of thing? It's not like they go BANG or Pew-Pew!
However, I digress. I do believe the gooberment goons at the batf scan social media and for sale/trade/want to buy ads. That gives them more ammuniton, no pun intended, to know what you have and they add it to the list of stuff you have that they are keenly intersted.
Don't post things about the great bang-switch thing you just got, or anything. Just don't.

My guns are all . . . . ghosts or something.

I think in my years of being on OSA, I might have posted a picture of one. And, that one was way back. Those other social formats aren't even a part of my life.
You're probably much better off for it . . . .
