Cheaper than a new lawn tractor. I have a 2016 X350...cost over $3k at the time. I wish I'd known more about lawn tractors when I bought it. It has a transmission that can't be serviced. If I'd stepped up in size one model series I would've had a much better and capable machine. I could use more capability now that I've moved to this acreage.

I really need to get my place in Olustee on the market so I can buy a tractor.

John Deere just picked up my 318.
I hope it’s something simple but planning on a new engine.
I could buy a really nice gun for what this will cost I’m afraid.
I feel your pain. My Kubota L3010 is in the shop right now with a cracked head. I know it’s not going to be cheap, but the tractor has served me well for alot of years.

I’m hoping this new (to me) mechanic will at least see if this is a simple problem. I’ve heard these Onans have some type of crankcase filter or vent that messes up.

This leaves me with a 317 that has a locked up engine.
A Craftsman that has a major oil leak
And
A 1970 Cub Cadet that will run about 40 MPH. I have no idea why it’s so fast.
