These are my two favorites;

First pistol I ever shot was my dad's 1966 Ruger Standard (before the Mark I) at H&H when they were still on NW 10th;

And my 1956 Single Six. Folks call it a Flat Gate. I love this gun;

New Rugers are great guns, but they don't shoot like these do!

Ruger Single-Six my dad bought new in 1976 and gave to me a few years ago for Christmas. MUCH holster wear from many years of coon hunting.

I'll post a pic later after I get home.

Holster wear should be worn like a badge, or medal, or something. Nothing worse than a shiney, perfect gun, that just sits in a safe or box.

I love a well loved, worn old gun. Much better than pristine. Mortal sin.
