More appropriately, a secondary volley should have been "I see you have A CLL, do you have a weapon today" ---- honest people with 'life happening' at times forget they are carrying during that initial contact.... IT happens.
A well worded note to the boss man that you were told this.....but the statute states this........may generate a Memo to resolve any confusion, if there was any.

Im still tryin to figure out how running a DL will bring up a CWL, they are not supposed to be connected
I seem to recall hearing this before. If memory serves, from some of the LEOs that I have as patients. I'm not sure if the dispatcher gets it on their screen and informs them automatically, or if they ask for it.
Wasn't there an incident in some other state where the SWAT team showed up at some guys house because he had a Class III firearm registered at the house? I seem to recall the dispatcher giving the info that a "machine gun" was registered at the address and the Tac Team showed up.
It is ALL in the system somewhere.

I was told by the LEO that did my class that when he put a SDA holds drivers license in the computer a big yellow bar comes up across the top of his screen. The guy was with forest park pd.
This is one of the benefits of a non-resident permit from another state -- OK cops can't see it on a license check.
