Actually, I do not believe that terrorizing a person is legal.

You are right. If they somehow are found to have been terrorizing other individuals than I'm all for prosecuting them. At this point, however, it seems as though their is prejudice and bigotry happening on both sides of the argument. Let's just be honest, that's completely normal and sane. People who get sucked up in other people's lives are bigger suckers than people who buy extended warranties.

How is what those guys are doing terrorizing people? Do you,see victims? Is dressing stupid and saying hateful things illegal now? They're probably in their mom's basement cutting up all her good sheets.
And what about Westborough Baptist Church? Are they any less vile? It sure does seem like they're allowed to do their thing.

Express yourself, until some body is offended. Then the government will decide who can and who cant.
Is that where we are now?

Look at it this way.
I got tired of seeing the star of David being worn proudly everywhere at school. I was brought up differently so I am going to voice my opinion. I wore my swastika flag around my neck during Hanukkah week at school, not because I'm antisemitic, but because I love Germany, pure Germany, the way it should be... WITHOUT HANUKKAH. If anyone finds it offensive, they are being too sensitive, it doesn't represent hate, it has nothing to do with Jewish people, just every Jewish activity, belief, and holiday.
You see the problem here?
It makes as much sense as the Westboro Baptist Church trying to convince us they are doing good by flying their God killed your soldier flags at memorial services. It IS hate, and they aren't fooling anybody.

You missed the point. All that crap is hate, but it's also legal. The only way we can know that the 1st Amendment matters is if we protect the speech that we disagree with the most. Protecting the speech we agree with is easy.

Maybe, but what did they hurt other than your "butt"?
