Nope, I just hate low life's who point out everyone else's faults they don't agree with..... Typical Liberal!

:finger:

Funerals are strictly for the survivors. How many dogs were in attendance? The survivors in this case were officers, if this is what they need to find piece, then fine.
It was someones partner and good friend but Its still a dog.

Exactly. You bury a dog, and you grieve for a dog. You don't invite the press.

BTW: Tran, I'm expressing an old fashioned conservative notion.

Think what you want that's "MY OPPINION" and as you can see by the video plenty of people showed up to pay respect to the service dog. If it is willing to lay it's life down for me or my family then hell yes I have a lot of admiration and respect for it.

I am glad to here no public money was involved in this, but who was paying the officers to do the gun salute etc?? I am first to acknowledge that the loss of a pet can be heart breaking. but lets be honest here , the dog in question was public property right? I am sure the officer and his family are grieving the loss of such a companion and the police department is grieving the loss of a highly trained effective piece of property. but just to much drama. the bright side of this is " the dog can be replaced the officer couldn't".

Not at all. It's just about whether you accord the same respect to a dog that you pay to a cop or a soldier. We're just going to have to agree to disagree.

I'm sorry the dog died...I love dogs and I grew up with a German Shepherd. Having said that...if any animal attacks you, do you not have the right to self-defense? I DO NOT KNOW THE DETAILS of the case. I'm sure this was a criminal. But if you ask many people if they are just going to lay there and let a dog tear them to pieces I'd bet most would not? The bad guy probably deserved it and all that...he is a POS for killing the dog! But again, should he have just offered the dog his throat instead? What are you supposed to do in that situation. It would seem the handler would know that each time he sics the dog on someone,, that they might fight back? Help me to understand it better fellas.

Now that a dumbass question and it doesn't even deserve an answer... But if it is willing to laydown its life for me, then I am and always will be indebted to it. Be it man or Dog.
