Yesterday was our "respect other members" theme day, not today.
Neither do dead people...the funeral is for the living to have a specific event allowing them to "let go" as it were. It may serve the same purpose for humans who have lost dogs and are grieving. I do agree that this one seemed a little over the top, though it all also seemed well intentioned.
I had more of a relationship with my cop car radio then anything else. It told me where to go and when to go. I asked it questions and it answered back. When I needed help I spoke into it and help came. When my radio died unexpectedly there was no funeral, no 21 gun salute. It was simply discarded and thrown into the scrap heap like that old dirty sock. I suspect far more cops have relationships iwith their radios then they do canine dogs. Our priorities are all screwed up.
Actually Hobbes as soon as I get to a computer there's gonna be a some bans handed out. I am sick and tired of the BS ...
