I'm in the G26 camp as a carry weapon too. The G43 is sure nice, but the good old reliable and nothing short of awesome Gen 4 G26 gets the IWB nod most often still.

I'm not a fan of the pinkie-coiled-under-the-mag-grip of the G26. The G19 is not much bigger, but affords room for a proper grip. For the SP101, it is probably a matter of which grips are on the gun, but I always prefer getting all three digits wrapped around the grip.

As an edc, for me it's no question. Hard to go from 10 rounds and an easy reload with 17 to 5 and a slow 5 reload. Not that 5 is not likely more than enough, but I like options.

And I will add that I absolutely love sp101's but my practical side takes over here.

Totally agree.

I think snubby revolvers are practical choices for pocket carry. However, like the G26, the SP101 is a belt gun.

I would recommend the Glock unless (1) you do a lot of stuff outdoors, and the revolver's ability to use shotshells and/or monster hardcast .357 Mag loads is important. Or (2) you are one of those folks who just naturally shoots a revolver much better than an auto. They do exist.

PS: The SP101 is a fantastic gun! Be sure to get one later.

I'll be sending something to Gemini by the end of summer..... so fwiw you're looking at probably 12-1500 vs 500 LOL. In that pic anyways.

I'd go with more capacity in most cases.

Both! I EDC a g26, i have a nice holster and belt and it works great. I also have a taurus m85ul in a cheap uncle mikes that i carry aiwb. My snubbie is very easy to carry, i load it with 2 snakeshot rounds and 3 critical defense rounds and carry a reload strip with more CD when i go fishing or places that i might run into a snake or other creature that likes to bite. For the bitting humans i prefer the g26. Its easier to reload quickly, option of higher capacity is a mag change away. Sometime i carry the snubbie all week, than i watch the news and think i need more ammo and go back to the glock. So my answer is BOTH!!!

Right here!! Both, and if you like you could even carry both at the same time. One IWB and the other in a inverted shoulder rig(SP101 is a little heavy for pocket carry) from Ken Null Holsters. I carry my G-23 an SW 640ND in that manner from time to time.

Get a +2 Pearce mag extension for your g26 mag(s).
