doesn't that mean everyone has had some marxist training then?

And i didn't realize i needed to google anything to figure out what you were trying to say. I honestly didn't even know what OLOC meant. Why are you googling old lesbians?

I think if you go back to that google thing, you'll find there are lots of groups that write about supporting black lives. Not sure how you singled out lesbians, but again, that is a you thing.

Thanks for clearing up that your comment was a non sequitur.
You really are ignorant of that movement. You just proved it. Thank you.
Oh wait, you approve of it and have taken your knee. I see that now.
It wasn't a me thing, you just ignored the comments following. You also failed to acknowledge the agenda posted by these lesbian founders of BLM. By that failure I have to assume you agree with their agenda to take this country down and make it theirs.

And no one has said Columbus doesn't mean anything at all.
You have. You continue to diminish his accomplishments and advocate an end to Columbus day that a lot of Americans recognize.
Juneteenth didn't happen in June historically. I've already posted the historical time line, so why force a change? Why not let the individual states set their own emancipation dates for their own dates the slaves were set free? If Tx wants to celebrate it on a certain day, go for it. Alabama can set their own dates and create a state holiday. I don't care.
Juneteenth does not need to be a national holiday to celebrate freedom for the slaves in Tx is my entire point.

I don't mean to but in, but its a hobby of mine. Not to deminish the mans accomplishment, but perhaps those lot of Americans that believe so whole-heartedly were taught incorrectly that Columbus discovered America. A belief that was politely disproven. If it were really a matter of accomplishment, it might be changed to Scandinavian Day as they were the first Europeans to actually discover America. Or rightly so, swapping it for Indigenous Peoples Day as they were the first to step foot here and carve out sustainability millennia ago having travelled from Asia.

It's more than just the day Texas slaves were freed. It's a day to celebrate the complete and final end to slavery in our country.

I've already along with others covered the fact that Columbus didn't discover the US. He discovered the new world which encompasses the United States. While the nordics did nothing with their discovery, Columbus went back, and brought the old world to the new world which resulted in creating the greatest nation the earth has ever known.
Juneteenth is not historically correct. I covered that earlier in this thread. The slaves knew they were free long before that.
Slavery officially ended in the United States on December 6, 1865, after the 13th amendment to the constitution was passed and ratified, abolishing slavery across the nation.
