@brentmcdonald84 sorry your thread got so hijacked. The rifle is cool. As a wise man once said, if both parties are happy it doesn’t matter the value/cost. $300 seems like a good deal
It wasn’t hijacked they were arguing about value@brentmcdonald84 sorry your thread got so hijacked. The rifle is cool. As a wise man once said, if both parties are happy it doesn’t matter the value/cost. $300 seems like a good deal

A great war trophy mauser 98, all the metal looks in great shape. The action alone is worth the 250 to 400. I am thinking about $400 to $600 as is. With the right stock it could be a lot more.I’m going to pick it up tomorrow. The pictures are what is sent. The seller says it belonged to his grandfather then father and now his mother just passed so it passed to him but he doesn’t want it.
Yes but No the holes drilled in it deflate that value unfortunately.A great war trophy mauser 98, all the metal looks in great shape. The action alone is worth the 250 to 400. I am thinking about $400 to $600 as is. With the right stock it could be a lot more.
I bet. $3-4 hundred is real world unless it has solid history to bump that! JMO
