While I realize you said you weren't taking pictures.

Go to about any gunshop and make it look like your taking pictures and see how fast they run you off.
The owners, employees and any customers in there won't like it unless you get permission first.

I had a gunshop for 20 years and the only time a customer came in and asked to take some pictures of a couple guns I got burgled a couple weeks later.

Some burglars take photos of mechandise and get customers before they break in. that way they know how much they are going to get and where to take it so they don't have to hold it.

Back in the late 70's -early 80's there was a couple that did that to a bunch of Tulsa antique shops before they finally got caught.

Go to most any Gun Show and start snapping pictures and see how fast your escorted out.

Wow. Seems to me that the guy is pretty paranoid for some reason. I would like to know the reason behind his paranoia before making the decision to never enter his establishment. I too would have felt insulted by the guy coming outside to write my tag number down even if I had taken a couple pictures of his guns. Guess maybe I'm pretty thick headed because I can't think of any harm that could be done by taking a picture of one of his guns anyway.

Perhaps the person operating the store should have made that policy known. Might have saved him a customer and a sale.

That's dumb i would have told him none of your business what i'm doing on MY phone. I've never been run out of walmart of target for taking pics. Also taking several pics in gun stores all over the country the worst i had is a guy saying would you like me to pull it out of the case for better pictures.

Exactly. Took a picture in a Denver gun store of a Walther P-38 and texted it to a collector buddy. The guy behind the counter even brought over a pistol stand so I could get better pics. I even told him I was from out of state and would have to get it shipped. Not a problem at all.

Rule 4: Doubletap: Carrying a gun is a great idea but it should never be your primary weapon. When you do end up using it for that last minute 'oh sh*t' moment remember to double tap. Its an emergency and that's why your using it and not your cricket bat so why skimp? One bullet more in the head will go a long way to ensuring your survival.

If you go to Fatboy Tactical they will give you naked pictures of themselves. If you are really lucky, they may take naked pictures of you, themselves and the guns.

I stopped in there on the way home today around 2pm.
Had a nice chat for about 15 minutes. Had my phone out a couple times and didn't get harrassed.
Enjoyed the visit and may go back tomorrow.
