I'm loving this cooler weather! I've had 3 bucks chasing doe pretty hard this morning Apparently the big boys didn't get the memo.

The little bucks always try to get a head start, but I bet the girls aren't being very cooperative.

My son has seen a lot of chasing activity in east Texas too.

ended up seeing six does this morning. we were going to go back out but i don't want to sit in the hot wind. even though the deer move better in the evenings for us, i think i'll go in the morning

Heard about 15,000 shots today, I was only out for about half of the day, at my daughter's trap shoot lol. Seen deer out feeding pretty frequently on the way home this evening. Didn't see any trucks parked anywhere as if somebody were hunting.

The ducks and geese are flying in high numbers this morning. That's a good sign because the duck and goose hunting has not been very good down here the last couple years.

Only seen a couple does so far and they were on high alert. Very spooked

We heard some youth waterfowlers get in to some south of us. Just heard the first mz shot at 8:13

I'm out right now. Haven't heard any shots. Activity is pretty slow. I did have this guy come by to work his scrape for about 10 minutes.
