Get off my lawn.
If you're not selling or trading, keep it concealed an no one will know it's there no matter what. It is not illegal to CCW in the gun show.

I don't go without mine. Remember, you still have to walk through the parking lot.

Thanks! :D

I have been to the Tulsa Arms Show (and I am sure nearly everyone here has), and they do post that there are no concealed firearms allowed, with law enforcement checking people in at the doors, but according to the law these no firearms notices have no teeth.

The only way they could is if the OK AG other authority considers the property to be fairgrounds ONLY when a fair or other government-endorsed event is going on (i.e. not when leased out by an individual for a gun show, monster truck rally, etc...), but that would be really pushing it. Even then, I think that could be successfully challenged since the land itself are still designated as fairgrounds.

Not trying to confuse the issue, but considering the highly unlikely "what-ifs" :)

I have always considred it common knowledge that you. for all practilcall purposes cannnot carry at a gun show. I have seen people escorted off the premises for breaking this "rule". Legal or not, is is worth the potential hassle?? I am a strong believer in the second ammendment. but I can allmost (note: almost) agree with the policy of no concealed carry at gun shows. Just because someone has a CCW does not mean they are qualified to carry (same as, just because you have a driver's license does not mean you are qualified to drive). I am not so sure I want a bunch of Rambos doing the concealed carry thing at a gun show.

Why is a gun show different than carrying anywhere else? What evidence do you have to label these CCW holders as "Rambos?"

That's what I do.....

Few years ago, went to gun show. Paid my $10 at the first table. As second table, off-duty police officer was moonlighting as the gun checker. I'm wearing a small black fanny pack. This security officer says "OK I'll need to check your gun", pointing to my fanny pack. "I don't have a gun. Can I go in?" "No, I need to check your gun" I go back to the table and say "This officer won't let me in. He says I have a gun, but I do not. I'd like my $$ back please." They give it back and I left. He's acting in his capacity as private security, not law enforcement, so I didn't have a duty to notify.

Point is, don't use a fanny pack. Use SmartCarry. I'm not disarming just because some douchebags are too stupid to keep their concealed carry concealed, and have caused problems at gun shows, prompting them to post a no-carry rule.
