Sample 'em. They usually have an "inspection" date vs. an expiration....if the foil wrap is not leaking or bulging you'll be fine ;-)

They are so processed that you will be fine I would just be cautious with tomato based ones due to the acid. But if it is bad you will smell it after heating no question about it. But food has to have oxygen, acid, time and proper temp 45-145 to spoil. If packages are sealed you are fine to eat.

I've eaten some recently that were a couple of years past the expiration date so I could "rotate my stock" some and they seemed fine to me.
