Those officers and Pocatello police responded to Tuesday's shooting, which college spokeswoman Adrienne King said did not pose an imminent threat to the school of 14,000 students nor require a lockdown or evacuations.

I see comments all the time about "dropping a mouse gun in my pocket". Always wondered if it was in a holster.

Yeah... I would never ever want firearm in my pocket without some kind of trigger-cover. Even manual safeties get accidentally turned off all the time. I catch my cocked-and-locked 1911s with the safety off frequently, from it rubbing against my body, the carseat or something else. Of course, I'm not putting a 1911 in my pocket, but the concept of keeping the trigger covered still applies, all the same.
