I turned some rotors for a friend that when they were done were just within spec. The other ones were out of spec and we replaced them with new ones. Guess which one made the car wobble?

I have turned rotors for myself and many other people for the 15 years I have worked on cars and they never warped. A lot of places that do your brakes don't break in the new pads in or tell you how to do it and that is one reason warping happens, Improper break in.

What is the correct break in procedure? I'm pretty sure I did it right, but I would like to hear how you say to do it. My friend drives her car pretty rough, so if they weren't broken in she could have warped them. But if the rotors are turned too much, there is no enough metal and the rotors can warp. Brakes create a lot of heat as you know.
