My wife and I found a few today. I found the first two and waited for her to catch up so she could "refind" them. I don't remember finding any after that -- she found them and sent me in to the briers to get them. :-) She's getting ready to cook them ... I've never tried morels before so a new experience coming.
Pull off Hwy4(going North) before getting to the S Canadian river and start walking - hope the guys who lease the hunting rights aren't there!
Fried in butter with garlic salt and onion powder. Pretty good, but my wife is just loving them! Guess we'll be going on more walks thru the woods. :-)
