I bought a big generator after that 2007 ice storm. Have had it serviced and updated religiously. It’s kicked on over the years, but never more than 3-4 hours. Kicked on at about 1 am. This is the longest I’ve ever had it running.
SE of Cushing. Power went out after the storm was well past us. Tree fell on lines just down the road. Neighbors said it looked like 4th of July show.
I bought what may have been the last generator in OK this morning. Haven't made it back home yet today but I think the power is back on. I had been planning to buy a generator, I just didn't get the one I wanted.

I just passed 36 power company trucks replacing power poles on S Yale Ave just south of Kimberly Clark plant.
Assorted bucket trucks, service body trucks and pickup trucks.

Ours went out about 1:00 am Sunday and came on about 8:00 pm. Rural NE Rogers County.

OG&E just emailed me and said power would be restored by 10PM on Thursday here in Bixby...

longest i have been out was 32 days.
Out for 13 hrs. In Glenpool. From 1215AM Sunday morning until 1333 hrs. Yesterday afternoon. OG&E service guys were resetting transformers with telescoping fiberglass looking poles. Appreciate them.
