Red light runner slammed into my truck last week and it is totaled.

It was an 08 f150 4x4 if that matters

So, what is the best of the domestic offerings? Anything to look out for?

Don't even mention the foreign trucks. I'm not going to buy one

When I bought my truck 5 years ago, the F150 was 60% made in North America, 40% made in other countries mostly Mexico.

The Tundra was 80% made in America (Austin) and 20% made in other countries mostly Japan.

Guess which one else I bought?

My 2004 and 2011 Silverado's have had about 200.000 miles on each. My 2004 has only had a transmission built for it. The 2011 only had steering position sensor needing changed before some idiot ran a stop light..

Traded into a '16 F150 in June, very pleased with it.

Both Chevy and Dodge get low ratings.

It was between Tundra and F150 for me, the F150 won because I wanted all of the neat technology in it.

You didn't mention Toyota. Tundra is manufactured in San Antonio. Ford is manufactured in Mexico and Canada for different models.
