They claim to expand well subsonic. I'm willing to try whatever works. I'm not concerned with price as they will be for hunting. They just need to tear a fatal hole in a coyote at 85 yards without waking the neighbors.

If you want plinkers, I'd look into the Berry's spire point 220gr. Cheap and plated.

I have some SubX but never tested them. For hunting even with a can, I still go Subsonic.

If you poke a hole through a coyote it will die.
May not die within sight but a double lung or through the chest it is going to be dead.
I do not think you need to go to elaborate on the round.

If you are near Yukon i can show you my quiet 308 and set you up with some powder and projectiles and I will even prep some brass and give to you for the cast loads.

We can shoot mine in the back yard into some wood. It is a must do :)

At point blank i shot hogs through the ear and top of the skull with it and they took instant dirt naps.
