Hello my name is Don and I am an addict, Ive never "Put one to the arm and shot up" but have found that holding, smelling and consuming guns are just as addictive as shooting them.

My addiction started early, at age 5 my father passed away and left me his trusty 22 bolt action and by age 8 I could hit the broad side of any barn in the county (and I never got caught).

When I hit 16 my step father took me on my first hunting trip and although I never found a deer I did get to shoot some wild dogs who were killing our chickens and ducks.
By 21 I had the best Over/Under shotgun my meager wages could afford and brought home my fair share of quail and doves. But the saga doesn't end there.

Now at 53 years of age I have bought and sold more rifles and pistols that I can remember and have found that I still can't get that feeling of "A NEW GUN" out of my system so I have trained to become a gunsmith so that I could play with other peoples guns. (Nothing sexual going on here!)

My FFL is still pending and has had a few hickups because of location and city codes but that has all been straightened out now and I should be "legal" very soon now.

Welcome. I am pretty new myself. There is good people on here. I will let you know if I come across a 22 bolt gun.
