Because I want to move to Verizon and the droids are the best choice (FOR ME) until the iPhone goes there(in MY opinion). I couldnt care less about "free and open", I prefer the UI.

What I don't understand is why you care why I prefer my apple products. they fit my needs better 95% of the time. you prefer Droid/Microsoft/Linux, or whatever you use because it fits your needs, leave it at that...

I dont care what you use, sweetheart. I never said I did. I dont mean to hurt your feelings, but ya just aint that important to me. What I did say is that I dont understand the mentality.

If you want phone because of UI, check out a webos phone. It by far has the best UI of any mobile device. HP s going to lose out on their superior OS because they are refusing to license it. Kind of like what sony did with betamax.

Really excited about the iPhone coming to verizon? I hate my iPhone with a passion. When my contract expires I'm getting a Droid on Verizon (The only thing I hate more than this POS phone is ATTs service) and shooting the 3GS with my 338 Lapua at 500m. And I'm videoing it down range.
