Why are the people at Dong's so rude? Seriously, it's like they don't want repeat customers... if only their selection wasn't so big... if only...:violin:

While I normally would be pushing for local purchase to support our firearms community, I have witnessed too many examples of rudeness, just flat out poor customer service and know-it-all attitude from Dongs for my taste.

I prefer to shop elsewhere in town or shop online and get it cheaper when necessary.

I Don't like the idea of paying $24.99 at Dong's for a SuperSling II that sells for $16 at Academy and $15 at Wal-Mart either

Same item all three places. Made in USA. Even the one at Wal-Mart

Why does Gun World charge twice as much as every other gun store?

I was in there a couple months ago, they had a Glock 22 with standard sights for $720 and a used rental basic Bushmaster AR-15 for $1400.

But the guy that said he is the manager told me if I buy both of them he would cut me a deal.

I truly notice the lack of friendliness as well therefore I shop at OPS whenever possible. I do absolutely love the sign on Dongs door refusing service to baggy, saggy britches wearing thugs!

Man, I thought I was the only one who felt that way. I was in there this past Saturday to purchase a box of ammo and I was appalled at how one of the guys (tall, slim, grey headed) spoke to an elderly man who came in asking about gunsmithing. If only there was another location in town that carried Hornady TAP .308, I'd never give my business to Dong's again.

Each time I've been there, one of the older guys (tall, slim, grey headed) looks and talks to you like you're trespassing or something of the sort.
