I have carried at three funerals...I was actually a pallbearer at two of them and involved in the actual service of the other. The two that I was a pallbearer in I was actually concerned of attacks by the step family...4 out of 6 pallbearers were carrying at the second one because of threats, there were also a large number of family and friends that were carrying too...

I think you should, a funeral is a time to make peace with a lost loved one, which is hard if you are worrying and not at peace with your surrounding...take it as a comfort to you...you won't regret it.

PDA...HILARIOUS!!!

my family is real into hugging and i have never been detected. They are also VERY religous anti-gun people.

when they go for a hug just reach under on the side you have your gun on. so that their arm goes over yours. works every time!!

yeah that's the way I always do it too, and it gets them in the position you want instead of vice versa. But this guy just was behind me, I mean right behind me at church, he calls my name and when I turned around he just grabs me. It even took me few seconds to even realize who it was it happened so fast. But yeah I agree the directing them where to hug you works everytime.

Protecting yourself any and everywhere is not disrespectful at all. It seems you are more concerned with the anti-gun people bitchin' at you, if something did go down and you saved everyone's lives (including your own) they'd be the first to thank you for carrying that glock or sig.

No, I am not concerned with anyone complaining at it, so much as I don't want my wife to have to deal with them doing it while she is grieving her uncles loss. I just argue with them all the time about it, never ever stops me from carrying.

In fact once my ssister-in law thought she could be sneeky and have her hisband say they were not comfortable with me carrying over to thier house. I said, Ok. well call me when it's OK and I will be back. Pissed my wife off, then she later understood. They have never said it again!

This is a no-brainer, carry as you normally would (or should), everyday, and everywhere legally acceptable.
