Yes. Because NFL and College football are identical in every way, and everyone who does well in college flourishes in the NFL, and anyone who sucks in College does nothing in the NFL.
I never said pokes are perfect. But yeah if you watched some of the games - say the OSU/ISU game you would see what I am saying is accurate. LSU and Bama aren't special. lackluster offense with a legitimately good defense. Neither team has really had their defense tested vs an offense that can make plays happen and can run the ball effectively and pass the way OSU can (or OU before they lost broyles).

Saw every bit of the OSU game and it happened like I called it. (didn't call the loss, thought it would be close) OSU has problems with mobile QBs, something that will be in their favor this weekend because Landry is a statue.
Now to your comment about not being tested. When has OSU played a good D? Their offense has yet to be tested by physical corners and a stout D-line. Anyone see what happened when Weeden got just a tad of pressure this year?
typical pig worshiper attitude. Making charts that clearly say assuming at the bottom, using a tragedy as an excuse, and can't forget the all time favorite ''this is our year.'' Combine the 3 and you get what we call an osu fan. The plane crash was a tragedy but using it as an excuse and saying they shouldnt play the game is all a bunch of crap and deep down you know it. They couldn't postpone it. It is their breadwinner right now. They have way more money tied into football than the other sports that were cancelled. Not to mention the check they were cut for being on national tv and the other monies they were given. Its a new thing and big for you guys and when it all comes down to it, money is the foundation so to think they would actually of postponed the game is preposterous. Both teams played like caca and escaped a couple times. Both teams played like caca and got beat. Its going to be just like the past few meetings where its all on the line. Its beginning to be alot like OU - Neb during the 70's & 80's & somewhat 2000's. If OSU does win then hats off to you and it took you long enough but i guarantee that if you get voted into the national championship game you will get beat. SEC teams are on a whole different level than what OSU is used to and even in some ways OU. Look at the dominance OU had in '08. We beat the pants off everyone, play an sec team and get shut down. Its not hocus pocus they really are that good of a conference.
I bet...OSU hasn't played a D on par with LSU - no. But we have continued to put yards and points up against every defense so far. Weeden when pressured still did his job as a whole.

numbers like that don't come from being easily shook. Most of the incompletions were dropped passes. I can tell you from experience that is understandable if he throws half as hard as he did in high school.
our D likes to give room and let people come to us - not just mobile QBs. I'll take a D that gives up a few yards on a run over one that leaves so many passing lanes and deep routes open.
