Go to the court clerk with the handi cap placard and tell them you forgot. They should dismiss it....was it visible at all?

If it's anything like getting a ticket for no insurance because you forgot your card, then there no court costs, but I don't know for sure...

The missus has one. As I recall, you may place it on the dashboard or hang it in the windshield - usually off the rear view mirror....

I think you would have better luck of getting it taken care of if you go to the court house and talk to the DA or one of the ADA's about it and let them know that you just forgot to put it up. Take it in and show them as proof that you do have it.

In OKC, it's HIGHLY unlikely that the county court or the DA would have anything to do with this. OKC municipal court is where this needs to go. Besides, the OK County DA won't talk to anyone who has been accused of anything. Ever. Good luck even getting to talk to anyone there even if you aren't accused of anything. They only talk to people when it suits their purposes.

Take the ticket in to the court clerk and show them your handicap placard. Explain what happened and ordinarily the ticket is voided.

If it happened in Okc, take it to the ticket counter and they will tell you where to go from there. All you have to do is show them your card, tell them that you forgot to put it up. In Okc, you can have the ticket dismissed without any costs ONCE! If you get another after that, you will pay a minimum of court costs, which I believe is $150.00.

Any place other than Okc, I have no idea what they do.
