They had 4,000 bricks, but they sold out sometime Monday morning. The $65 per brick was the club price; the individual purchase price was $90.

It was also 1950's vintage. From what I heard it wasn't as bad as the current Remington stuff. Maybe they'll find some more laying around.

Actually, it was 1990's dated ammo. Some of the folks on the CMP forum said they'd shot stuff of that vintage, and didn't care for it - too many FTF's. But for 2.3 cents per round shipped to an individual, it's still cheap.

Long since gone...last stuff was sold monday apparently.

Definitely mixed reports on if this 1995 stuff was good or not...given the price, I was more than willing to give it a shot. It was $114 shipped, which is just a little more than 1/2 price from your standard WalMart bulk price.

After my experience with Remington Golden Bullets, I would be hard pressed to spend my money for anything with Remington on it; ammo, that is.

You are correct. The Bullseye google group I belong to got confused about whether it was 1955 or 1995 ammo and 1955 stuck in my head instead of the later conversation. The group's consensus was that if it was 1955 ammo, it would be good stuff. In that time period, Remington was the go to ammo for Bullseye shooters.

On the CMP forum, some folks claimed the other day that they saw a white dually pickup at the North Store, being loaded with two pallets of this ammo. Supposedly it was for a club, but still - that's a lot of .22 ammo!
