Hello, I am currently planning on buying a Sig Sauer 229R chamber in a .40. I looked on Buds Gun Shop and found one for a good price. However I am planning on going to the gun show at the end of March. I have been told by a few people that gun shows are only good for holding a wide range of guns to find the one you like the most. My question is through personal experience have you had success buying handgun of higher quality and a gun show in recent years? Also was it a snap decision or did had you shopped around and the gun show had the best price"? Another question off of gun show topic is the prices at Buds Gun Shop overall seem the lowest prices I have been able to find. Other than gunbroker and gunsamerica are there any other sites that have competitive pricing to these other three websites? Thanks for any information you might be able to give me.

The only good deals i have found at gunshows lately have come from kings guns out of cushing, all the rest of the dealers want more than retail

Everything is cheaper online. Just buy it from Buds then have sooner state pawn do the $10 transfer.
Prolly cheaper than anywhere local unless you can wait for a deal.

Since he is in Broken Arrow it would be cheaper to buy the gun on-line and then have Arnette Knives and Arms in Catoosa do a $10.00 transfer instead of going all the way to OKC. What do you think?
