I'm trying to help you here. Considering the sheer number of people posting via Photobucket here, it's either on your end, or your profile on OSA is limiting you. If you could get a screen shot of the error, and post it, that would help.

J/K!

But have you considered the sheer number of people on this forum that state they have trouble posting pics?

Next time I attempt to post pics I'll send you a screen shot, if it allows me to. Today is not the day for me to go through the rage inducing process of posting pics to OSA. I've got a loved one that was put in the hospital this morning. I'm clearly not the only one having trouble, maybe someone will come along to provide you with desired screen shot or more helpfull details. Thank you for your help.

I agree, I want to see the pictures. I was one of the sellers who was having to text pictures, in my defense it was due to a virus that wouldn't let me download any pictures. That problem has since been fixed.

The sticky is very straightforward. However, I had problems posting because my camera takes high resolution pics, and I guess the file size is too big. I was able to open the photos in paint and resize them to about half the size, and then the posting worked. It's worth a try to resize the pics if you are having trouble.

I'm certainly not an expert. But a 30K to 50K file size should not overwhelm a given post allocation. If it is too big, suppose I'll try to make it even lower resolution.

This is not for anyone in particular.....Posting pictures IS NOT difficult. I have never had problems posting pics. I get tired of hearing people say, I can't get pics to post up. I have a photobucket account. After you upload pics to photobucket, there is a box below that pic that says IMG code. You click that box and it automatically copies the link for you to post in the forum. This is not rocket science people. If you want your items to sell, post a freaking picture.....ahhh laziness kills me............

Okay, now I feel better....:tounge2:

Can you post some pics on that?!

Get off my lawn.
If you're posting from photobucket OSA doesn't give a crap what the file size is. You download the picture directly from photo bucket's server. The DB just keeps the pointer.

And you can set photobucket to resize automatically upon upload.

Here's a 5.8mb pic.

I wasn't meaning do it now. Whenever it happens and you feel like dealing with it, send me the screen shot (you can email it to me), and we can try and work it out.

And most of the people I've heard have general trouble posting pics. Yours is one of the few reports that might be OSA related. You're also not the first person I've tried to help with pictures.

What he said. The only time file size matters is if you are attempting to attach the picture directly using OSA. Please don't, it's a sucky way of posting pics. And much harder.

I recently learned you can also link pics from your Facebook account. They aren't big and beautiful like the photobucket links but they work.
I too have had issues with the Bucket and gave up.
I have been uploading my pics and wasting storage on the server since then.
I will try Photobucket again soon.:thumbup3:
