Why Does the DHS Want to Buy 7,000 Assault Weapons for ‘Personal Defense'?

hmmm.... If the manufacturers are tied up with government contracts when will they have time to catch up with civilian demand?

And ammo manufacturers have already said that primers will go to ammo first before being sold as separate product, so with the ammo run and govt orders there will continually be a lack of supply.

They need something to protect themselves now that they released the information to the public on how awesome scissors are in an active shooter scenario. Can't let all those scissor wielding crazies take over the world, can we?

Some fugwump orders tenthousand rounds of amo on the innerwebz and the church lady wonders how they did that.
We say, that aint nothing, the fat guys have a hundred times that much in their basement.

Then, when the USGov orders an ammount of ammo that isn't that much greater considering the number of employees they have,
We go "I freak out already. I exspecially wonder why USGov needs hollow point bullets (which, If you don't know, is the very most dangerous kind of cop-killer bullets.) What does USGove need with all these exspecially dangerous type of bullets?
