That P320 is the real deal. I'm an M&P fan with multiple copies, after selling off all the glocks.
I had the chance to shoot the P320 back in April and I was impressed. I shot it next to the VP9 and it has better sights, trigger and grip, IMHO. Neat, comfortable pistol to shoot that's looks too long, but works out well in the end. I'd be happy to carry one. Am I going to run out and sell all the M&Ps and convert? Probably not anytime soon, but it is a great pistol and were I have to 'start over from scratch' would get a strong look.

I view Sig Pistols as the corvette or porsche of pistols...the glock is the chevy pickup...if the SHTF, I'd rather have a chevy p/u but for daily patrol, I'm sure Sig is an accurate, fine piece of machinery...I would not go a year in the bush with no gun oil though LOL...

I have only have one Sig, but based on my experience, if they have tested the "Masquito" they may have some DRASTIC conflicts in their reports...

I know that law enforcement would never select a .22 for anything but training... but... WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT the Mosquito has been for me! I will never buy another Sig.

If I remember correctly the Sig Mosquito was not manufactured by Sig, but licensed out. And this new P320 is a polymer pistol built nothing like the P22X line of pistols. Priced way more like a Glock, with more changes available on the 'chassis' system.

That's accurate.... Chevy's tend to need a few aftermarket parts to keep them on the road.

BTW, I'm typically no Sig fan but their P22x series is known for their reliability. They and several other handguns will shoot just fine without oil.

SIG underbid Glock.

This does not surprise me in the least. I wonder if S&W got to bid their M&P?

I just picked up a Shield and I compared the G43 with it side by side. Better features and a more robust gun in the Shield and at a full $100 less money the S&W was a no brainer.

Anybody compared the Sig to a Walther PPQ M2? I've handled the Walther and it very well may be the finest polymer gun I've touched. If I weren't so invested in the M&P platform I'd be extremely tempted...

I really don't care what they cost. I think they should get the best rig out there and I'm far from convinced this is it.
