I did tell them that I did not have it all that I had used parts on other projects all they got was aluminum tube. I Wonder how they would have reacted if I had all the parts that came with it. I fill lucky and yes they were doing their job. I just wondered why after two years.

It's pretty freakin' sad that "you feel lucky" that armed men didn't take you away. For what harm did you do?

Yeah, just be happy you were smart enough to not use it as a suppression device. If you did and they had proof then it would've been serious.

Let me give you guys a little history lesson. About 25 years ago a company started making a thread adapter to allow users to screw a liter size pop bottle to the end of a gun. It made it a one-shot suppressor. ATF deemed the thread adapter to be an NFA item just like this device.

Anyone with half a brain (and history) knew exactly what was going to happen here.

It is my fondest dream that some day the provisions of GCA68 and later additions to it will go away. Until then, I will be content with firearms that are legal today. I care nothing about full auto, costs too much to feed, but I really would like to be able to shoot without damaging my hearing further.
