I'm probably going to come up and get in a day of dove shooting and trail cam battery replacement on my way to my antelope hunt in NM Labor Day weekend, and I'll more than likely shoot my english stocked Beretta Onyx 20 ga. with whatever 7.5 or 8 shot ammo I have on hand. I might get ambitious and hand load some, but I'm really not that mad at a dove to go to much trouble.

bennelli m2 that serves all my shotgun needs. between dove, quail, goose, duck and skeet, the poor thing gets 3-4k rounds ran through it. not a single hiccup in 5 years either.
walmart at penn and memorial had remington sts #8's on clearance for $5 a box. i bought all 13 boxes. still haven't figured why it was on clearance though

Wal Mart does stupid ****. If inventory isn't moving, they are sometimes told to mark it clearance and move it out. Doesn't matter if its deer season stuff that set idle from August and September (cause they get stuff in way early) they are told to much it clearance and get it gone. So now come November you can't an orange vest or something similar because it didn't sell and corporate said to get rid of it.

This is exactly right, I just bought 3 pairs of insulated pants and 2 shirts and 4 bags of corn at Walmart for $30 I'm sure it's all junk but it feels good

I "like" that Mod 12 16ga. Only have a mod 12 in 12ga. Any idea how old it is? Mine is a 1928 vintage.

According to the serial number it was made in 1958. I picked it up at an estate auction a few years back. It has the extended forearm, checkering, and a vent rib modified (choke) barrel. All original except it looks like someone put a new butt stock on it at some point. Grain and finish is slightly different but correct for a model 12.I like the old classics but they are getting really hard to find at a reasonable price
