I never thought Trump would shoot so far ahead in the polls. Some other poll came out today showing him at 26% and Bush at 12. Unless Trump really steps on his dick, he's likely to get the nomination.

Biden, on the other hand, is the sitting VP and the libs like him. I don't think Hillary can beat Biden.

If Biden and Donald get into a slug out in a National Debate, it will go down as one of the best in history.

Trump says he is not a debater, he is a doer. He is playing down the expectations for the debate on Thursday already. Biden on the other hand has been a debater all of his life.
This Thursday will be interesting. Some will get a bump in the polls, and Donald may drop out if he can't match talking points with facts, because you know they are going to hit him with a broadside at every opportunity.

My list has Cruz at the top with Carson, Paul and Fiorina a definite maybe. Trump might move into the maybe column depending on if he has actual ideas on Thursday.

Jindal moved into the consideration column today. He terminated LA's contract with Planned Parenthood! Now that's gonna go over like a wet fart in an elevator. Gotta give points for that. :laugh6:

Also real interested in seeing what Walker has to say.

Donald Trump (24 percent) leads a fractured Republican field in the race for the GOP nomination in the latest national CBS News Poll. Behind him are Jeb Bush (13 percent) and Scott Walker (10 percent).

And the funny thing is, many of the same people that called Palin stupid are supporting Trump. Palin seems to love the Donald. :P

I'd rather have Trump than Sanders. I'm friggin sick of being taxed to death.

I'm in agreement with you. I don't make very much compared to a lot of members here, but I'm paying 1/3rd of my gross in taxes and SS. Basically, I feel like I am paying others to sit around. I don't see the benefits either, of my taxes. For example - Sooner Care, or Food Stamps. I am paying for others to have these rewards.

You know, I've kind of given up hope for tax cuts and fiscal responsibility. I'm just hoping to hold onto some of my remaining freedoms and that hope is fading daily.

That's another reason Trump is resonating. He admits he pays as little in taxes as possible and he'd be far less likely to enact new ones than Bush, Graham, etc.
