Several years and yes, very worth it. I find more and more I want when it costs nothing to ship, and I don't have to wait to "bundle" things into one order.


2014 I think I had over 50 orders from Amazon, so it absolutely more than paid for itself. Slowed down a bit this year, only 19 orders in the last 6 months. I don't watch much Prime Video, though I keep telling myself I'm going to. lol. I use my FireTV box sideloaded with SPMC to run movies off my home NAS. I'm closing in on 1000 movies on that, so the Prime FireTV box gives me a nice interface with a remote for those.

I'll definitely renew it.

guessing no, but if all three are true then i guess i am not sure why it'd even be a discussion since i don't know what prime could get someone other than those parts.

We got a free year with our AT&T cable/internet package. Having moved a bit further into the country and being tied down with the twins, the shipping has made it very worth it. We now buy a lot of things we'd go into town for and just plan the 2 days ahead at least. We'll be renewing.

I order from Amazon now and then, and get that prompt to join the Prime program. For the reasons I've stated, I've just clicked on "No thanks" and placed my order. I just wondered if there might be something I missed that would make it worthwhile for me.
