Anyone have any issues with FedEx?

I see Bud's has CCI Mini Mags for $7.99 per (100 Round) box. Not a great deal maybe not even an average deal but it is early in the morning and I am bored and somewhat upset that we have some idiots in my company because my HR Manager didn't follow my advice to hire Captain Obvious. So I order 15 boxes.

The order arrives yesterday and the box is open on the top and I can see broken plastic and loose rounds in the box.

I say to the FedEx driver, "This looks like it has been opened and is pretty busted up."

He replies, "No, it's fine."

I stop and turn my head to the side and look at him and say, "Dude ... the box is opened and product inside is visibly broken. This is not 'fine' and it is not acceptable."

Pulling the ammo out, boxes are broken and there are chunks of clear plastic CCI boxes and four rounds are missing.

Then he says that he will go back to his truck and try to find the loose rounds. I tell him don't bother I am not accepting this order. He gives me his machine to sign, I write refused then my name (and he asks me my name).

I called Bud's and they were very apologetic and said when they get the return they would re-ship.

FedEx truck shows up to my house today. Less than 24 hours after the first delivery. They taped up the same box with the same messed up order and my wife asks to sign for it. (EDIT ... I had to clear that up ... She offered to sign and the driver said "No signature needed" and attempted to hand off the package and head back to his truck).

The driver tells her "No signature needed" but she says, "No" and calls me. I look at the box and tell the driver that this is the same box I refused yesterday with a lot tape. He tells me I can't open it so I tell him either I open it or he can take it back.

Sure enough .... I flick open my knife and opened it ... it was the same box with the same broken ammo boxes in it. I again refuse it.

I again call Bud's to tell them and they tell me that FedEx marked it "delivered". They again apologize and say they will call me back no later than Monday after they contact FedEx.

Anyone with FedEx issues?

My MIL refused a package sent to her in Greece, because the duty on it was more than it was worth. Fedex called me and asked if I wanted it sent back to me. I told them no.

So they tried to charge me return shipping which I refused to pay. Then it got sent to a collection agency, and I told them the same. Still got lots of collection calls, but I never paid it.

Seriously stupid move by FedEx. Not really the money but it is the principle that one should not treat customers this way. They wouldn't try this where I work but they think that my wife or I would accept some beat to hell order at home on the second pass?

I work for a rather large and relatively obnoxious company (why they like me there) that provides a lot of revenue for FedEx. I will be back in my office in Chicago next week and if this is not resolved I will sincerely screw with some folks in Memphis simply for sport.

Wow man.... that's terrible! I would be livid! Honestly I can't say I've had an issue with either company, but that certainly raises an eyebrow. Whether or not it would have effect, I would be blowing up FedEx's customer service

That sucks man! F them!
My experience hasnt been positive but it also hasnt been that bad. Whenever UPS delivers, the driver is smart and leaves packages behind some bushed on the porch (not visible from street). The fedex idiots always put it right next to the door where it is clearly visible from the street.

I don't blame the carrier so much as I do the company shipping it out...

Poor packing.

I have a battery place on my route that had a box of AA batteries. I picked it up and the bottom falls out. The company shipped 1000 loose AA batteries in the box WTF right??

I see TV's all the time that are shipped in the friggin box you get when you go to Bestbuy/walmart/anystore that sells tv's, with a shipping label slapped on it.
