If this does actually happen, I have a chain saws, a 4x4 and a trailer and would be willing to help clear fallen trees and limbs if someone needs help. I am in the Owasso area.

I remember as a kid in 1994 in Memphis we got hit with a big ice storm. It was interesting to see the two types of people: a) those who made offers like you, or b) those whose used chainsaws were suddenly worth 4x what they cost new.

Our whole neighborhood came together to get it all cleaned up. I ended up "teaming up" with a guys wife...between the two of us we could move some stuff but alone neither of us were strong enough

I dunno. I DO know that when I came home, she had to let me know cause he had given her "the gift that keeps on giving" apparently. I never even unpacked my seabag.

Sounds like you married one of my exes. I hope there is a special really hot room for people like that.

I am up in Guthrie north of OKC and willing to give a hand if anyone needs it as well. Have a pickup truck and tow strap that will move some decent sized branches. No chain saw but if you have one I can run it. If it's major bad and help is needed during the storm I am probably one of the few people in the area with tire chains, beats 4x4 on ice easily and I will come help out.

Did this before a few years ago at a place north of Lawton. They had a tree through their roof, no power and only a fireplace for heat with little wood. Cut up some standing dead stuff so they had something to burn and cleared as many trees as I could.
