I smell lawsuit.
Could very well be headed that way, and I think that the parents should consider it. To me this is another example of a policy that was possibly created with good intentions, being used in a way that is way beyond overzealous and becoming a tool of "indoctrination" by those who hold power over children.

How is the school monitoring all the social media posts and likes of all the students?

And who is ok with that?
Would like to know that as well. I can see a school looking at things like this if they have a valid reason to believe that a threat has been made against students because they were informed of the post, or a student has made similar statements at school. But if they are trying to monitor the post of all the students all the time, with the intention of looking for things that the student likes or participates in away from school with the intention of suspending or otherwise punishing students for non PC things the student may like or say away from school, outside of school hours that have nothing to do with the safety and well being of students while at school or school activities, then I have a big problem with that.

If the parents of the students don't make life very unpleasant for Superintendent Russ Fussnecker, then they're partially to blame for this ongoing nonsense. He and the school district should be sued to within an inch of its life.
