I don't condone nor would I ever condone shooting a bow in town, but I have shot pellets and BB guns in my yard.

But rabbits can multiply ....well..l.l.l like rabbits .....they can easily overpopulate an area . It's not uncommon to see 10 or 20 rabbits in my 1/4 mile drive into the hood. They can also bring coyotes with them we've seen more coyotes in the ever before, I know they are thick 3 miles away but didn't think I'd see them in the neighborhood.
I've had to go around more than once due to coyotes on the runway at Westheimer Airport in Norman. I mentioned it once, and was told they'd tried getting rid of the coyotes years before, but the rabbits were far worse.

Word of caution: The more you plant, the more rabbits, mice, and other critters will come and feast. If you have a problem with these critters, surround your garden with rabbit wire, bury part of it deep enough so they cant burrow under it, and get a cat for mouse control. If you have a problem with deer, build an 8' chain-link fence around your garden. Otherwise, stand vigil 24-7.

It wouldn't be so bad if they finished whatever they started to eat on, but they will take a bite out of one fruit/veggie and move on to the next.

The wild turkey do more damage to my garden than the deer.

Just weird that some dicks will indiscriminately kill things. If someone shot his dog, how would he feel? Yes, them are fighten words because I feel strongly that folks should not kill things they will not eat. Just sayn. Disagree or not, I won't change and neither will you.
