My group drew the McCurtain Cty WA hunt. Looks like success rates are high, but no idea on quality. Never deer hunted this area. Anyone have any tips, or info that would get me excited about the hunt?

My daughter got drawn two years in a row. but not this year. Me and my wife got drawn for atoka this year, two years straight!

Skunked this year. However one of hunting partners drew a cow elk tag.

I didn't draw for anything, however my 11 year old daughter drew out for Tishomingo, 2-deer hunt. This was actually a great draw for us because that was the last hunt my dad and I went on together before he passed.

Have you been to Tishomingo NWR since the flood? I posted about that earlier. Went last year. Complete waste of time if you get draw for an area hit by the flood, its all random, draw a number out of box. Hopefully they have less hunters and more prime spots for the youth.
