It continues to amaze me how terrified folks are of harmless snakes. Particularly since they help you by eating bugs, rodentrodents and poisonous snakes. You actually shouldn't fear poisonous snake but respect them and their bad dispositions.
Keep it out of my laundry (and my water well; two separate stories!) and I'll feed it all the critters it can find.
And, for the record, I fished the one out of my well quite carefully (the other got tossed into the garage, but lived).

I had one at my door in the form of a beggar last week. Can you believe that!?! I had one begging at my door in Austin once. That I can understand, there were hordes of beggars down there. Now, it's happening here in KC land. Anyway...nice snake. At least he was dropping off a pizza.
