Anybody know anything or have an opinion about a store in Tonkawa ( just off I-35 exit 211) called LUX Firearms?

I've been driving by it a few times the last few weeks but late enough that its not open.

They dont have much. I've been past there dozens of times and finally stopped and they seemed to be more interested in gunsmithing (according to them) than having a large inventory of guns. "We can get whatever you want" kind of place, but nothing to catch an impulse buyer.
When I stopped, they seemed to have as much self-promoting swag as they did firearms.

Been in there offand on since it opened believe it or not at one time he had a large selection of guns that was way overpriced. He also had large variety of Vortex scopes but not much of anything in there. Keep Driving

He’s a graduate of a gunsmithing college. Pretty dammed good at what he does which is rifles basically. Long range is his speciality. He has all the latest, newest big name machine tools in his shop to work with.
He does good work on pistols as well.
When the oil patch was going big guns, he was crapping in tall cotton, with a huge flow of sales and work.
He, like a lot of smaller shops is having issues with sales right now, so he’s working on a niche market.
That’s all I know.

I can get whatever I want too.... off the internet...... but I'm weak when it's in front of me. These guys need to realize this.

Agreed. I have very little use for shops that carry nothing but brand new stuff or majority AR stuff. I miss the old days with racks of random used guns on the floor.
There's a new shop in Lawton called Ares. They have the typical cool class 3 and tactical stuff, but three walls of well used beaters too. Currently tempted by a mint Rem Nylon... priced way below GB
