They might get out of jail but they cant own a firearm.......they are still convicted felons. Maybe those getting out won’t give a SHlT because they had their sentence commuted (and after what they experienced theirmhaooy to be free)....but they still won’t have their records expunged.
Not true at all at all. They in fact will no longer be felons. Educate yourself. Here, theres a cool tool called Google. Look up SQ 780. It was on the ballot 2 years ago but maybe you dont vote.
They won’t need as many felons in the future since the younger generation is being brain washed about firearms. They don’t want them.......
WTF is theirmhaooy?

Their happy (smooshed together)

And SQ 780 just reclassified crimes from felony to misdemeanor as I recall, I didn’t read a it would erases all of the crimes that had been committed prior to its implementation, you are saying 780 erased all of the convictions of felonies it covered (before it was law)

Maybe you’re a criminal and 780 had a profound impact on you? Is this why you read it front to back.....
780 decriminalized non violent possession charges from a felony to a misdemeanor and lowered the fine from jail to a ticket.
the current bill will make it retroactive so if you have spent any time in jail for having a blunt, your going to be set free and your felony reduced to a misdemeanor.
No, I'm far from a criminal, I'm an American and an Oklahoman who enjoys plugging into current events in politics that effect me an a free citizen. I research a lot so I can have educated conversations with other like minded, educated Oklahomans.
So why I'm having this debate with you, I'll never know.

That’s not my point Dennis, that’s a different argument change the law .....but dumbasses that done realize they can’t carry into a post office could cause problems for the rest of us. Not saying it will happen, but the permit required an extensive background check. Constitutional carry will not, and it could inmy opinion drive the government to drive Leo’s into making as many of as unable to constitutional carry because we have trumped up felony charges in the future. I can see a future where the government will try and put as many people into the convicted felon basket as they can in order to make sure we can’t have guns. Some could argue they already have

I wasn’t discussing nor arguing against your point.
My comment was merely about the stupidity of not being able to carry in a post office which has cost many lives in Ok and elsewhere.

LOL..... I have to many other issues to deal with to read the whole thing......I do feel like your calling me uneducated is that the road you want to go down?
I never read the thing, I listen to a talk show at 3:00 every day on 1520, the host is a political scientist and he keeps up to date with this and other issues. He educates me.
Well you have no idea about criminal justice reform and the measures that are being pushed to end Oklahoma from being number 1 in the WORLD for locking up its citizens. Its kinda a big news topic so unless you have the Ostrich syndrome, one would know whats going on.

And to be clear I wasn’t talking about Oklahoma specifically, it’s been the path we have headed down for the last 30 years and only recently has the course reversed. Possession without intent to distribute should have never been a felony, but then again it took 20 hears for Oklahoma to allow “strong beer” so it never surprised me. That said I know a lot of people that have been caught with a splint in their car and were released with a warning (Leo’s simply don’t have time to pursue every numb nut teenager they find with a joint. Now get caught with a lb that’s a different issue, unless you have a dispensary license maybe. I don’t know I quit smoking that **** it highschool and even the next it was but a few times......lol
I agree on all but one thing, with pot, the difference (legally defined) between use and distribution is 25 lb, not 1.
