New Vehicule law

Is anyone else aware of the new law that goes into affect July 1st, that you now have to carry your vehicule registration in the vehicule at all times.
I personally dont see the point in this but i know lawmakers can come up with some of the stupidest laws for no reason.

I like the part that when you sell your car you keep your plate. Now you don’t have to worry about the new buyer blowing turnpike gates with a plate still registered to you. That did happen to me.

This kinda sounds targeted at illegals.

I have always carried my registration in my motor vehicules. I didn't even know it was a change till I saw it on TV. And since it was on TV, you know it's true.

Almost every state requires it. When you get pulled over the first thing most cops ask for is registration, insurance, and DL. And I like the plate thing.

I didn't know that, when did that happen? I've wondered why OK doesn't require that.

Keep the plate, no problem, but are you required to use it on the next vehicle you purchase? I still don't see why you need the papers, just like insurance verification, they have it on their computer correct? This is going to be a big mess for a lot of people that forget their plate, or do not have their registration papers.
